Privacy Policy

1. Scope — who this applies to This Privacy Policy explains how Umirai.ai Technologies Private Limited (“AppDaddy.ai”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects Personal Information through https://appdaddy.ai and related services (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”). It applies to visitors, customers, users, job applicants, and others who interact with our Site.
2. Definitions

Personal Information / Personal Data: any information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual (e.g., name, email, device identifiers).
Processing: any operation performed on Personal Information (collection, storage, use, disclosure, erasure).
Data Controller / Data Fiduciary: AppDaddy.ai determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Information collected via the Site.
Processor / Service Provider: third parties that process Personal Information on our behalf (e.g., Stripe, AWS, SendGrid).

Payments: payment-related data (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers on our systems).

Usage data: pages viewed, features used, search and click activity, timestamps, crash logs, performance diagnostics.

4. How we use Personal Information — Purposes & legal bases We use Personal Information for the following purposes; we list typical legal bases used for EU/EEA/UK users (where applicable):

Provide, operate and maintain Services (contractual necessity). Example: to create and manage your account, process payments, provide access to paid features.
Customer support & communications (contractual necessity / legitimate interest). Example: respond to support requests and send service notifications.
Billing, fraud prevention and security (legal obligation / legitimate interest). Example: prevent abuse, verify identity for payments.
Product improvement & analytics (legitimate interest / consent where required). Example: understanding usage patterns to improve the Site. We may use aggregated or anonymized data for analytics.
Marketing (consent or legitimate interest depending on location). Example: with your consent we may email you product updates and offers; you may opt out at any time.

Note: You should run a cookie scan to generate a precise cookie table with exact cookie names and vendors. The policy should link to that table and the cookie preference center.
6. Sharing & disclosures We may share Personal Information with:

Service providers / processors: Stripe (payment processing), AWS (hosting), SendGrid (email), analytics providers — only to perform services for us and under contractual safeguards.
Affiliates / subsidiaries for business operations (if any).
Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors) where necessary.
Legal & safety: to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety or property.

We do not sell or share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update the policy and comply with applicable opt-out requirements (e.g., CCPA/CPRA).
7. International transfers AppDaddy.ai is headquartered in India and uses third-party service providers (some of which may be located or operate internationally). Personal Information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws. We take steps to protect your data during transfers (contractual safeguards, encryption, access controls). For EU/EEA/UK data transfers we will rely on appropriate safeguards as required by law (e.g., standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms).
8. Retention We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes in this policy or as required by law. Examples:

Account data: retained until account deletion + 3 years for legal obligations and recordkeeping.
Analytics cookies: retained approximately 13 months (or as required by the cookie vendor).
Support correspondence & transactional records: retained per business needs and legal obligations (commonly 3–7 years for tax/accounting).

9. Security We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Information, including access controls, encryption in transit, data segmentation, monitoring and logging, and periodic security testing. While we work to protect data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — absolute guarantees are not possible.
10. Children’s privacy Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided Personal Information without parental consent we will delete that information. Parents or guardians who believe we may have collected data about a child should contact support@umirai.ai.
11. Your rights and choices Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information. Typical rights include:

We may ask for reasonable information to confirm identity. We aim to respond in accordance with applicable law.
Authorized agents: If you use an authorized agent (e.g., attorney), we may require signed permission from you or identity verification.
12. California privacy notice (summary & Notice at Collection)

Do Not Sell or Share: AppDaddy.ai does not sell or share personal information for monetary consideration.
Categories of Personal Information Collected: identifiers (name, email), commercial info (subscription data), transaction data (payment processor), online identifiers (IP, cookies), professional info (job title), and inferences/analytics.
Purpose of Use: to provide service, process payments, analytics, marketing (with consent), and comply with legal obligations.
How to exercise CCPA rights: submit a request to support@umirai.ai.

(If you receive requests from California residents that require a distinct process or privacy portal, we can add a dedicated web form and automated verification workflow.)
13. Automated decision-making & profiling We do not use automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on users. We use anonymized/aggregated analytics and may apply models to improve features; if we implement profiling with significant effects we will disclose it and provide opt-out rights where required.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When changes are material we will provide notice (e.g., via email to account holders or a prominent notice on the Site) and update the “Last updated” date.
15. Data Processing Addendum (DPA) For customers and integrations, AppDaddy.ai will enter into a DPA that sets out the rights and obligations of each party with respect to Personal Information processed on behalf of the customer. If you are a customer and need a DPA, email support@umirai.ai.
